This was published by Charles Scribner and Son’s in 1952 and has the “W” under the Scribner Seal on the copyright page that signifies that it is a Book of the Month Club edition. It DOES NOT have a dust jacket. There is a mark on the front by the embossed signature on the front, some lightening of the blue cover in places, place on the back cover where a sticker once was, some of the silver lettering on the spine has rubbed off, but for its age the book remains in very good condition.
