In vintage conditions. These books smell musty. Most do not show much signs of use but they do show plenty of signs of age. Probably they were stored in a damp basement. The plastic coating on the covers is coming off on some, others have a touch of water damage, stains etc. There are some creases and small tears. Most of the interior pages are in decent shape. Most are signed inside. See photos for exact condition. There are a few duplicates. All were printed in the 1940s and most in the first half of the decade.
